About Jordan Lake farms ...
We have built the 50-acre farm, based on a five-year plan, from raw land into its evolution to date. The hub of the operation is a state-of-the-art barn with closed circuit cameras, flexible wall foaling stalls, and 2000 feet of office space above. Deep wells and on-site treated water provide good water for the horses.
The Ivy Arena
We have built a high performance dressage ring for the training and exercise of our horses. Shown here is the ring near completion. The completed ring has 45-inch high two board railing. A 60 feet diameter round pen (where most of the horse pictures were taken) is used for their basic training.
The pastures are all Bermuda (no fescue !) and fenced with four board fencing. These two pictures are at the front entrance to Jordan Lake Farms.
Jordan Lake Farms gets its name from Jordan Lake. A well-stocked lake with bream, bass, and channel catfish, Jordan Lake is fed by underground springs. The water purity is better in the lake than in the faucet.
